Description
Dating from the mid-to-late 1800’s, The Old Barn is a barn conversion forming part of the historic setting of Dial House Farm. When the current owners first saw it in 1992, it was one of a collection of derelict farm buildings, little more than three walls beneath a tin roof. What followed was a project to create something entirely their own, with the conversion taking place between August 1992 and May 1993 to designs drawn specifically around family life.
More than three decades later, it is a wonderfully individual four-bedroom home, where the character and proportions of the original barn sit alongside an incredibly practical layout, plenty of storage and rooms that have clearly been enjoyed over the years. The central section of the barn roof was also retiled in 2024.
