Description
Owners notes: Harvest Hill FH has been so much more than just a house to us; it has been our family home and the backdrop to some of our happiest memories for almost nine wonderful years.
When we first bought the property, we took on the challenge of a renovation, lovingly restoring it back to brick while preserving the character and charm that made us fall in love with it. We were passionate about retaining the beautiful period features, including the exposed beams and distinctive arched doorway, while creating a warm, welcoming home that worked for our family life.
One of the many reasons we chose Harvest Hill FH was the garden. It has become an extension of our home and a place where our family has spent countless hours together. During lockdown, we discovered a love of growing our own fruit and vegetables and created the allotment at the top of the garden. It remains one of our favourite spots, somewhere we can escape the demands of everyday life, enjoy the surroundings and slow the pace for a while.
This house has always been full of life. We've hosted family celebrations, summer parties, Christmas gatherings and countless get togethers over the years. It's a home that has never felt short of space and has adapted effortlessly as our family has grown.
What we have perhaps loved most is the feeling of being tucked away in our own peaceful world, while still being within easy reach of local amenities, shops, schools and a stones throw from Birmingham Airport. It offers a rare combination of privacy, tranquillity and convenience.
Leaving Harvest Hill FH is not a decision we have taken lightly. It is a home that has been filled with pure joy, love and unforgettable moments, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have been here. We hope the next owners will fall in love with it just as we did and create many happy memories of their own here for years to come.
