Piece, Camborne

Land size
1.3 acres

Key Features

  • 1.3 acres of land

Description

A parcel of amenity land extending to 1.3 acres, situated within the hamlet of Piece, ideal for creating a large allotment, pony paddock, rewilding, dog walking or perhaps, in the future, potential for development.

The Land
A parcel of land mainly level or gently sloping in a southerly direction. It has been unused for some time and is in need of clearing in order to make full use of the land.

The land shares the access with a former county primary school, which is now seven characterful homes.

A planning application for cottage homes was refused in March 2014 under Application Ref: PA13/11746, but no further applications have been made since.

Location
Piece is a tiny hamlet on the south-eastern fringe of Camborne. Tesco Extra is a little over 1 mile away at Pool, whilst there is a much larger range of shopping and amenities within Camborne and Redruth. The nearby village of Four Lanes is a similar distance away and has the benefit of a grocery store and other facilities. It is a central location surrounded by an all inspiring landscape, shaped by the tin industries of the 18th and 19th Centuries, many reminders of which remain in the shape of derelict engine houses and other old industrial buildings linked by miles and miles of forming mining tracks, which now make for peaceful walks.
