Before setting up the business, Shaun built his career in mortgages and commercial finance, working closely with estate agents and seeing first-hand what worked — and what didn’t. Too often, clients were treated like numbers rather than people. He knew there was a better way to do things. So he created an independent agency focused on straight-talking advice, strong communication and doing exactly what he promised. The business grew steadily through word of mouth and recommendations, not big advertising budgets. In 2016, Mark joined as Lettings Director, bringing deep expertise in compliance and property management. Simon followed in 2019, strengthening the lettings team, and Caris joined in 2021, progressing from weekend support to a key member of the sales team. Together, they built a close-knit, knowledgeable team that genuinely cares about getting things right. Today, Shaun Mellor remains proudly independent, helping buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants across Morley, South Leeds and surrounding areas, with the same hands-on approach it started with.
