LOCATION
The Britannia Inn built approximately 500 years ago as a farmhouse was then converted into an Inn during the 19th century and is located in Portland, a tied island 4 miles (6 km) long by 1.7 miles (2.7 km) wide in the English Channel.
The southern tip, Portland Bill lies 5 miles (8 km) south of the resort of Weymouth, forming the southernmost point of the county of Dorset. The A354 passes close to the front of the property leading across the causeway to Weymouth.
This three-storey end-of-terrace property occupies a prominent position near the south of the town and is surrounded by residential homes.
The Inn continues to serve the local community with popular offers of ales and entertainment.
