Stanford-le-Hope lies approximately 24 miles east of Central London and can be accessed via the A13 (Stanford-le-Hope Bypass), which provides direct access to Central London. Additionally numerous bus routes serve the area and the town is also served by the nearby Lakeside Shopping Centre.
The Manorway forms part of the A1014, which runs east from the junction with the A13 (Stanford-le-Hope Bypass) just to the north of the town centre. The site lies on the north side of Manorway and to the west of Southend Road adjacent to the Hassengate Medical centre in an otherwise mainly residential area.
