Description

The main house has been thoughtfully renovated, combining period character with refined, modern finishes. The result is a home that feels both grounded and elevated; one that must be experienced to be fully appreciated.

Designed for modern living, the layout offers excellent flexibility, including dedicated space for working from home.

A separate, beautifully converted barn provides fully self-contained accommodation, currently operating as a successful holiday let; offering immediate income potential alongside the main residence.

Despite its peaceful setting, connectivity is strong, with the A65 and M6 within easy reach. Leeds Bradford Airport and Manchester Airport are 46.2 and 79.8 miles respectively.

The main residence
Providing spacious accommodation across two floors, the property offers a welcoming balance of character and practicality.

A generous entrance hall leads through to a large sitting room, a well-appointed dining kitchen designed for both everyday living and entertaining, a separate dining room or additional reception space, along with utility and shower room facilities.

Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms, including a principal suite with ensuite, an office/occasional bedroom and a well-proportioned house bathroom. The layout offers flexibility for family life, guest accommodation or alternative uses such as studio or workspace.

Work and lifestyle
The property is well suited to modern hybrid living, with options for dedicated office space and the potential for private access if required.

With direct access to the surrounding countryside, it offers an exceptional outdoor lifestyle; walking, cycling and exploring from the doorstep.

Skylight Retreat (Holiday Let)
A charming, self-contained barn conversion providing independent accommodation.

Finished with character and thoughtful design, it includes a kitchen, shower room and open-plan living/sleeping space. Currently operating as a successful holiday let, it offers a ready-made additional income stream or flexible guest accommodation.

Outside
Set within gardens, courtyard and land there is an attractive mix of enclosed outdoor spaces and open views.

There is ample parking, a range of outbuildings including stables and land extending into the lower slopes of Whernside, together creating a unique sense of space, amenity and connection to the landscape.

Location
Positioned within a small rural hamlet near Ingleton, Twistleton Hall enjoys both privacy and community.

Ingleton offers a strong community, everyday amenities and a popular destination for outdoor pursuits. Wider facilities are available in nearby Kirkby Lonsdale, Settle and the idyllic Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Rail links are accessible from nearby stations (Ribblehead, Giggleswick and Oxenholme), while road connections allow straightforward travel north and south.

A rare rural lifestyle opportunity
Twistleton Hall delivers on lifestyle as much as it does on space, combining natural beauty, flexibility for modern living, and the potential for additional income.
