A gently south sloping site consisting of part woodland, to the southern end, with the remainder being grassland. There are no existing buildings on the site. The site is adjoined by residential uses, adjacent to the north and west boundaries and undeveloped land to the west and further to the south. Across Chalket Lane, to the east, is a cricket ground.
The boundaries comprise of hedges and trees and a belt of trees adjacent to the access from the gate. There are also trees along the frontage with Chalket Lane but more open boundaries adjacent to the residential uses where there is more domestic type planting. There are also conifers along the western boundary adjacent to the residen-tial uses.
There is a gate access from Chalket Lane that runs adjacent to a tree belt.
