Last known planning permission on site was E/1149/74 and E/2043/75 which are for the extraction of foundry sand and the landfill of (C&D) Construction and Demolition waste. Last known use was a shooting ground. The land has numerous lakes and wooded areas. The site could be a possible development site. The owners had an application with the council for Cabins on the site which was withdrawn.
